The Mahlkonig Guatemala 710 Lab features a special pre-breaker/grinding disc combination, overload protection, spout with a knock-off device, and a stainless steel grounded plate reduce any form of residue and electrostatic charge. It comes with multiple configuration settings making it easy to use. You just turn the knob to desired grind settings and get consistent particle distribution out the spout. The 71 mm flat steel burrs on the Guatemala grinder produce at a rate of a little over a pound a minute.
The Standard configuration includes a spout with a clamp, which is great for grinding directly into bags.
The Filter configuration includes a low-retention slanted spout, a spring loaded chute knocker, and an adjustable fork that allows you to grind directly into batch brew baskets.
The Lab configuration includes a low-retention slanted spout and features a grounds cup and stand. It's better suited for single cup brewing and cupping sessions.
